Your voice has POWER!
Your voice has VALUE!
Your voice MATTERS!
It is time to raise that voice!
An invitation for you:
It truly is a time for remembering who we are. Why we are here. Are you here to make a difference? Your very being and presence already makes a difference. But isn't it time to raise our voices? To actually speak, sing, write, paint and create in all ways possible what you perceive as your truth? While at the same time honour truths that may differ from yours?
Isn't it time to stop being politically correct? Do you ever feel like really speaking up, but refrain from doing so? Maybe because of fear of being judged or ridiculed? Or because you feel it won't matter anyway? If so, you're wrong! Every one of us matters. We always have. Now more than ever.
We live by SO many rules. That aren't even our own and are downright holding us back. Making us show up as edited versions of ourselves. The proper, sensible, good girl/good boy kind of person.
Can you feel something brewing inside? Something telling you enough! Enough of holding back! Enough playing small! Enough putting yourself aside to fit in where you actually don't.
You have something to say. Something every bit as valuable as anyone else's message. AND - this is important: Say it and write even if it feels as if no-one is listening or reading it. The world is full of lurkers. Who listens and reads and one day will step out themselves. Thanks to you having gone before them.
For the quiet and introverted this can feel paralyzing or at least overwhelming. Make it simple. Take babysteps. Speak your mind and message to yourself for starters. Journal. Allow what wants to come through to flow through. You will probably be amazed at what you write.
If you are on social media - which truly are powerful platforms even though it feels like we are drowning in the crowd sometimes - start with really short messages that points to who you are and what are your beliefs. It can even be posts with only one word in them.
It's not as if you have to get up and deliver a speach on or off stage. Or speak up in large group settings. Though, by all means: take the leap! You know "stuff" that nobody else knows or have thought about.
Us introverts tend to overanalyze things and talk ourselves out of whatever we aimed to do. Can we decide to let that go? And simply embody a "to hell with it, I'm showing up now" attitude? I know we'll have so much more fun as a result.
I know I am ready of even more ease. More joy. More ME. More truly saying yes to life! Yes to living. Not just existing. I've been on this journey for quite a few years now, so:
If you too would like to break the all the rules making you less than and stepping up using your voice even more for the greater good (and yourself of course), if you would like less "shoulds" and more of being true to your values and showing the world more of your colours, your authentic self, then all of this - and more - is what my group is about. And I would love to have you. There is a link below that will take you there.
My target is to create a community of quiet and introverted humans wanting to thrive, to remember who they are, to reconnect to soul and to create mores space, ease and joy in their lives. A safe space to explore tearing down boundaries that prevent all of that.
Till next time,
Make it about ease and JOY! And remember: Raise that voice!
